Bfn on 14dpo should I give up hope?

I'm usually very regular and I should have started af today but I have no sign of it except sore bbs. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I had some brownish spotting on 10dpo, for about an hour. and some super light pinkish spotting on 12dpo after . (sorry if tmi). I never sppt before af. Should just give up for this month and look forward. I'm nervous to get my hopes up.
